How do you mean it is the same as Terminal D?  Are you saying it will be 10 years before "seeing a dozer on site" for the Terminal D rebuild?

What I was saying is Terminal D project is pushed ahead fast due to high demand from United and foreign airlines... Same for Terminal A. Demand drives everything.

  2. Last time I flew United I was leaving Lake Tahoe flying out of Reno and connecting in San Francisco on the way back to Houston. The plane had issues, we had to get off, it was delayed 3 hours, finally got to San Fran, missed the connecting flight and the next available flight to Houston wasn't for like 8 hours, then that flight was delayed 2 hours.... I haven't flown United since...

Anyway, I'm glad 609 is getting leased up.

Any carrier could have delay issues. More flights they have, more delays and complaints there will be.

  3. I thought I remembered someone saying this one had an LED lighting effect?

Idk and I might be wrong, but I don't think it is a good idea to have led effect on a residential building…

  4. Please fly to Medellin direct and ill be the first to buy a ticket

That would be easier, 737 could do it. I was wondering why Avianca not flying Houston from Bogota or Medellin?

  5. I totally agree. How many times we hear lots of city mayors talk about new projects like "it will solve problems for the next 20/30/50 years" but turned to be not enough after 3 or 5 years…

To develop a city, you have to build infrastructures to attract motivation somehow, instead of waiting for chances to come. Don't put all arguments on findings, how much funding you can get, no matter public or private, partially depend on how hard you work on it.

Take a look at highway system and conditions in China, we should feel ashamed.

if you build it, they will come.

so, make it 3 lanes- do it right the first time :)

  6. Absolutely. The Dillard's site need big big work.

Agreed. Great compliment to the upcoming Saks Fifth Avenue flagship. Something similar or greater is needed on the Neiman Marcus side...a redevelopment of the Dillard's site and lot would be good, incorporating a large hotel. Also, within the Galleria, both Westins could use a gutting and redo. I think the Westins were recently put on the market or sold, but nothings been announced for a while...maybe Westin redos will happen after the ongoing Galleria transformation is done.

  7. good luck walking to the connecting station on the red line at 10pm. Bunch of homeless people and I have a HPD friend who works that street and says theres tons of street theft on that block

Well,,, 10 pm is usually not safe for any major US city downtown
