Hopefully its interaction with Main Street isn't terrible like that of BG Group Place.

Looks like something is happening here.
Maybe a car wash to compliment the one across the street?

I don't know how long it's been there, but there is a crane on site south of w dallas/ west of dunlavy.
Something is also going up at the intersection. Looks like a model of something.

"While luxury high-rise condominiums are commonplace in big cities - where land is scarce, forcing developers to build up instead of out - they've been slow to develop in Houston, where most folks prefer single-family homes." Quoted from her June 19, 2005 "report" about 2727 Kirby.
This is a true statement.
And what are these "dozens" of condominions that have been in houston for decades?

First off, the four story building is being built by the Morgan Group and I believe opened up today. Their rents are starting off around $1.56 psf and will be rising. It is for rent only and I don't see it being converted to condos.
I drove by this place today(36sixty). Would you happen to know when the office is open, or a phone number or web address.
The only thing I saw on the building was a now leasing sign.

Here is another render of Mosaic

Preston Partnership was also the architect for Spire in Atlanta. Mosaic looks very similar, not including the second tower.

www.shamrocktower.com is now under "major construction."
Does this mean no more shamrock tower?

Houston Pavilions now has a website.
Here is an OLD render of the project.

The renders on the site seem to correspond with the recent chronicle article about the project, unlike the old image above.

The light rail on main is at the bottom of the picture and it looks like the new Hilton is also in the background.
There are a few more random pictures on the site.

And the rumor mill is whispering about the Mercer East tower rising later this year. Despite the ugliness of the exterior, interior space, views, and location are enough of a selling point. There are just a handful of units left for sale in the West Tower.
http://houston.bizjournals.com/houston/sto...ry4.html?page=2
"Meanwhile, the Mercer will begin pre-sales in the next couple of weeks on a second condominium tower. Only about eight of the 54 units in the original 30-story building at Richmond and Sage are still available.
The second 30-story building will also have 54 units, priced from the low $400,000s to more than $1 million for a penthouse."
