yeah. ill get back you before this weekend is over.
-
when will this be finished?

All I've heard was a pebble running trail instead of the asphalt one they have now. Some attention to the trees, I'm not sure how. And get some of the other facilities usable... like swings on the swings... maybe get that basketball court up to date.
So trail, trees, and facilities.
they should just tear that playground down
-
so what exactly are they doing to this park?
-
cool. the property (20,000 sq foot) sold for $568,000
-
hmm i cant picture the warehouse in question and I was just there.
what I do remember about that intersection is that that is where the two cop cars collided. failure to stop.
yeah i heard about that....same intersection....

Midtown Lofts damaged and killed a number of Live Oaks (past Jackson) on Tuam with their sidewalk "improvements".
Just saying I hope the same thing does not happen here, becuase there is a wonderful canopy down Chenevert.
i'd rather have no trees than the site of that ugly warehouse
-
Check out the sidewalks there.
When they put new ones in, the trees are history, I am afraid.
why would they be history?
-
Good news that it sold. I have been out of town for a long time.
Save those trees. The sidewalk looks like Sarajevo after the war, and when they repave I think they will be in danger.
Also check for tile street signs. I think they have them there.
what?
-
it already sold. i see workers in there everyday for the past week cleaning up everything out of there. i also noticed all the windows are broken. i was wondering is this the process of tearing down a warehouse? (to clean it up first)
it sold for 600 something thousand.
i just hope they sold it to a builder and not to an investor that will sit on it for the next 10 years.

Whats going on in that warehouse located on Tuam and Chenevert?
Thanks

What's the deal with The Downtowner on Hamilton and McGowen? I guess I'll leave it at that.
what is it?

they looked cool at first, now they are alright. but i think later down the line, lets say 20 years from now, they are gonna look like ____!

In what is probably loosely tied in with this, I saw this weekend that Elgin has been scraped (at least, the eastbound side had) from Bagby to about Milam, so I take this to mean that the entire stretch from US 59 to the 527 Spur will be redone. Don't know if the sidewalks will be rehabilitated as well but the street is apparently in the process of being smoothed and repaved.
'Bout time.
Is it gonna be concrete or a tar finish?
-
Pangea closed, building is starting to come down it seems (partly on its own) fence up around the property. Anyone know what is planned for that space?
