What is this all about? It's right next door to Buffalo Wild Wings.

what happened to that project that was suppose to go up next to NEW TOKYO

The fountain in the middle of the park is also engraved 1910.  That's wild to see it in that first picture.  Maybe they could turn it into a flower bed vs. throwing it away.

There is a newer line of treess near Elgin (50s?) and the sidewalk.

But the big monsters I am talking about are at least 90 years old.

All I've heard was a pebble running trail instead of the asphalt one they have now. Some attention to the trees, I'm not sure how. And get some of the other facilities usable... like swings on the swings... maybe get that basketball court up to date.

In what is probably loosely tied in with this, I saw this weekend that Elgin has been scraped (at least, the eastbound side had) from Bagby to about Milam, so I take this to mean that the entire stretch from US 59 to the 527 Spur will be redone. Don't know if the sidewalks will be rehabilitated as well but the street is apparently in the process of being smoothed and repaved.

Pangea closed, building is starting to come down it seems (partly on its own) fence up around the property. Anyone know what is planned for that space?
