editor Posted November 15, 2005 Share Posted November 15, 2005 Something the mayor could do to clean Houston's air is enforce the idling law. It's illegal for trucks and buses be parked and idling for more than a certain number of minutes (like ten or so). He could start at the big Metro lot downtown where the bus drivers leave their buses running for hours and hours. Sometimes all day, while they have coffee or whatever in the driver lounge.
