On the west side of town they've built a large basin at the Beltway and Bellaire and are working on one between Hwy 6 and Eldridge, just north of the Westpark tollway. In both cases the areas around have been turned into parks and in the case of the one off Hwy 6 it's pretty large and includes a built up hill. Looks nice from the road.
