There is absolutely nothing one could buy out here in the SF Bay Area for 105,000, even in a community that was more than 100 miles away from San Francisco. Houston's suburbs offer affordable, new housing. Of course this is all hardi-plank, no stucco, stone or brick and you have to have a DD when you go bar hoping, but that is not an issue for me.
