  1. Subdivision plat filed by Urban Genesis for a multifamily project at the corner of Wood & Walnut Streets. SubdivisionPlatPDF_CS 19074-PLAT_v1.pdf Currently, a warehouse sits on site.
  2. Hines is building a new warehouse center at 2304 Reed Road near Almeda Road.
  3. Monday, October 22, 2007 - 2:58 PM CDT Houston developer begins new office buildings Houston Business Journal - by Jennifer Dawson Reporter Early success of the DNA Westway I office building in West Houston has prompted developer Dienna Nelson Augustine Co. to begin construction of two additional office buildings at a cost of $100 million in the Westway Park business park. Houston-based Dienna Nelson Augustine broke ground two weeks ago on DNA Westway II and III, which will contain a total 436,200 square feet of Class A office space. The 13.5-acre tract where the two offices are being built was the last available parcel in the 150-acre Westway Park at Beltway 8 and Clay Road that was developed by Houston-based Wolff Cos. full story
  4. I keep on seeing this Knight Road Loopnet listing so I decided to look on Google Satellite to see the industrial campus. I never knew this was here to be honest. I guess Stream Realty, or Stream Industrial is handling the leasing? Looks to be a total of 9 buildings situated between Knight Road & Almeda Road. I also see all that forest land. Some day that will be developed! Loopnet listing: https://www.loopnet.com/Listing/9051-9087-Knight-Rd-Houston-TX/11737768/
  5. So this is what they are building! I've been watching for half a year. Loopnet listing: https://www.loopnet.com/Listing/SEC-Hwy-288-Airport-Blvd-Houston-TX/25068623/ CBRE listing: https://www.cbre.com/offices/corporate/houston/houston-property-search/details/US-SMPL-74871/carson-288-airport-boulevard-houston-tx-77051?view=isSale
  6. Noticed this on JLL's website. This is outside of UT's 307-acres on Willowbend Blvd. The executive summary mentions it's a premium infill location. Also mentions TMC3 and Levit Green since TMC is only 3-miles away. Maybe long-term redevelopment? https://www.us.jll.com/en/investorcenter/industrial-logistics/willowbend-business-park-houston-tx-unitedstates
  7. This is another Willowbend/South Main industrial warehouse development. I can see it contains some lab space with the company AccessDx Laboratory. Loopnet lists this with a weird address of 11504 Willow Trl, Houston, TX 77035. The street leasing signage indicates it's a project of PMRG (now Madison Marquette) but I thought another company was involved? Obviously the signage is old considering PMRG no longer exists. https://www.loopnet.com/property/11504-willow-trl-houston-tx-77035/48201-0420150000085/
  8. This would have to be underway in order to meet their completion date. http://www.tramontejohnson.com/7800-washington/
  9. I finally figured out the third Plaza del Oro complex today. RNR had a recent real estate transaction regarding the property. Thanks RNR! HOUSTON — John Hornbuckle of Cypressbrook Company represented the tenant, Nuo Therapeutics, Inc., in the leasing of 4,865 SF at 8285 El Rio Plaza in the Plaza del Oro Research Park. Lane Travis with CBRE represented the landlord, El Rio, LLC. https://realtynewsreport.com/rnr-real-estate-briefs-hou-aus-dal-more-5/ CBRE has 3 separate property listings for the campus. The addresses are: Building 1 is located at 900 South Loop West Building 2 is located at 8275 El Rio St. Building 3 is located at 8285 El Rio St. https://www.cbre.com/offices/corporate/houston/houston-property-search/details/US-SMPL-47242/plaza-del-oro-900-s-loop-w-900-south-loop-west-houston-tx-77054?view=isLetting%2CisSale https://www.cbre.com/offices/corporate/houston/houston-property-search/details/US-SMPL-47244/plaza-del-oro-8275-el-rio-8275-el-rio-street-houston-tx-77054?view=isLetting%2CisSale https://www.cbre.com/offices/corporate/houston/houston-property-search/details/US-SMPL-47246/plaza-del-oro-8285-el-rio-8285-el-rio-street-houston-tx-77054?view=isLetting%2CisSale I stopped by all three Plaza del Oro complexes last weekend. I would list them as: MD Anderson BioHouston complex: 8000 - 8080 El Rio St. Transwestern Prologis complex: 1000 South Loop West, 8272 El Rio St. and 8282 El Rio St. CBRE Research Park complex: 900 South Loop West, 8275 El Rio St. and 8285 El Rio St. Here's some street signage for the CBRE PDO complex.
  10. Anything happening here? Loopnet lists the site as 20 acres. https://www.loopnet.com/portfolio-property/7300-Ardmore-St-Houston-TX/235801/
  11. A new retail building is going up on West Bellfort. Lots of biotechnology companies around Kirby, West Bellfort, Willowbend, and Stella Link.
  12. Another BioTech campus just outside TMC proper is on El Rio street developed by Prologis. Transwestern has 3 separate property listings for the campus. The addresses are: Prologis Plaza del Oro 1 is located at 1000 S. Loop West. Prologis Plaza del Oro 2 is located at 8272 El Rio St. Prologis Plaza del Oro 3 is located at 8282 El Rio St. https://transwestern.com/property/plaza-del-oro https://transwestern.com/property/plaza-del-oro-3 https://transwestern.com/property/plaza-del-oro-00 I stopped by this weekend to check the neighborhood out. I took pictures of the street signage.
  13. This old MDA warehouse looks in bad shape. It's mostly vacant? I never see much activity here. I stopped by this weekend to take pictures.
  14. I've been wanting to see the Anderson labs on El Rio. Stopped by this weekend to take photos. From what I can tell the addresses are 8000 - 8080 El Rio Street. There are several multi-building warehouse campuses on El Rio street. One is MD Anderson's, the other is a ProLogis development, and the other is TBD (haven't researched far enough.) The El Rio buildings are BioTech labs hosting lots of pharmaceutical companies. The whole area outside of TMC proper is medical-relating real estate. W. Bellfort, Fannin, Kirby, Willowbend, and El Rio is just a few streets that are populated with BioTech.

  18. WOW! My small town hometown will never be the same after this. Beacon Hill is being developed between Waller and Prairie View, TX. My parents always said it was only a matter of time when the city comes to the country. Guess it's finally here "BEACON HILL". #acreage #community #forsale #realestate #pvamu #wallercounty 1607536138122 (800×450) (licdn.com) Massive development coming to former Waller County farmland houstonchronicle.com • 3 min read
  19. This is across the street from an MD Anderson warehouse. Saw the whopping 441, 772 SF For Lease sign and had to stop by. http://looplink.natl.cbre.us/Listing/3110-Corder-St-Houston-TX/19219898/ 3110 Corder was being cleared out. Lots of metal scraps being sent to C&D Scrap Metal. Just like what Cherry did with the Grocers Supply job on Holcombe/Dixie.
  20. Development application was sent to the City of Missouri City. https://www.missouricitytx.gov/DocumentCenter/View/11482/110419-R-Pkt

  22. As you may have seen on the local news this weekend the Houston Furniture Bank http://www.houstonfurniturebank.org had a devastating fire early Saturday morning that destroyed everything inside the warehouse including a truck used to pick up donations. I am familiar with this organization and have a very positive opinion of this organization and its mission. It gathers donations of gently used furniture and, through vouchers given to various charitable organizations, gets furniture to people who are truly in need. In particular, many are those who lost all they had to fires, floods, etc. and do not have the means to replace things like beds, tables, and chairs quickly. If you should happen to need to dispose of furniture that is in good, serviceable condition please consider making a donation to the Houston Furniture Bank. As tragic as the fire and resulting loss is, I understand the Houston Furniture Bank already had plans to move into a new space. At least they should not have to wait so long for the old structure to be replaced.
  23. Six local businesses relocating to newly renovated warehouse in heart of Nicholson corridor An old warehouse on Nicholson Drive near the Mississippi River Bridge soon will be the new home to several tenants with design or artistically related businesses. The 18,000-square-foot building at 1010 Nicholson Drive will be called 1010 Nick and will represent something of a milestone in the redevelopment of the Nicholson corridor between downtown and LSU.
