Well that Fort Polk December style weather returns today with rain showers and greater chance tonight and tomorrow. This morning I am having a La style breakfast, fried fish cakes and fried okra, don't get any better than that for a breakfast, except of course for this great cup of coffee to go with it. I am in and out of my kitchen this morning , got left over turkey warming that my cousin brought yesterday in the height of that rain storm, and I had a pot of veggies and chicken already cooking, gave the dog the chicken for her breakfast and the potatoes and carrots were still in the crock so I just threw that turkey into the pot to let it heat up, couldn't stand it I had to make a pot of rice to go with it because the damned stuff tasted so good... anyway while I was doing that I walked o...

Had a couple thin slices of a little Fruit Cake the cousin dropped off to me today, sure is good, not dry very tangy and tasty, I remember these little cakes going for 50 cents in my younger day but now a thin one is 2.50 and I have saw some even higher. I know it cost more to make these little cakes but hard to find one that actually taste really good, this one passes the taste test and it is very enjoyable, only mistake I made was not making coffee to go with it, I'll do that the next help...

Houston Grand Jury just no billed another shooting of a black , he was unarmed but wearing a black hoodie and his Mother said he was profiled, gee do ya think ! I couldn't find in the article if he had a criminal record and what actually took place between him and the officer, but if this officer had shot this guy in cold blood he would not have been cleared. I hate hard decisions , tonight s late game is Seahawk s and Cardinals, I like both teams, in reality I can't lose but I just hate to see one or the other do down. Now if it were money on the line I would go with the Seahawk s because I do believe they are the stronger team. It will be a good game either way

Weather forecast in Baton Rouge says there will be a 60 per cent chance of rain on Tuesday. Now Christmas Day should be nice and seasonably warm here in the South. Rain stopped last night after 11, but this morning it is very dark out and it might sprinkle or shower again before the day is over. Almost forgot, I found my shroud and awaiting conformation on the dimensions for width and height. It is one piece and listed for a big block so when you ask for a heavy duty radiator for that 82 they naturally assume you have the 454. I knew the radiator that was originally in the Truck was not this long one but the narrower taller one using a two piece shroud.
