anyone have any recommendations for vinyl record stores in Houston. looking for one that has an extensive selection of old and new rock. Thx in advance for any suggestions

Took the family and some of their friends to see the bats come out from under the bridge today. They came out when it was pretty dark so I couldn't get any shots of them. But, here are some shots of the surroundings while we waited. Sorry for the blur in some of these, I didn't take the tripod. Just saw that they put up a new wooden fence around the old Mervins area. There are also a couple of bulldozers in the empty lot. Looks like they might start construction on the outdoor section of the mall soon. Interesting that they tore down the Olive Garden for more parking space. Perhaps Olive Garden is going to build in the new outdoor mall area. Anyone know?

The guys that were at the front when I got there allowed me to take photos. But, when I left there was a different guy there, and he said I wasn't suppose to take photos. I thought he was going to make me delete all the photos. So, I guess it just depends on who's manning the ship.

Went to Houston Baptist University today to visit the Lee and Grant exhibit. http://www.hbu.edu/hbu/About_HBU.asp?SnID=141925366 http://www.hbu.edu/hbu/MOSH_Lee_Grant_Exhibit.asp To be honest, I was not aware that this campus even existed until I looked up where the exhibit was located. I'm not from here originally. They would not let me take any photos of the exhibit. Pissed me off because this was the reason why I took my camera. So, afterwards I walked around this small campus and took some photos of the buildings. I don't know if this has been asked already, since there are now 10 pages of responses, but, Is there a link to "view recent posts" like there was in the old site.
