I live on Merrill which is 10st street east of Studewood. I can see 10th west of Studewood from my couch. I have seen maybe one ambulance going up 10th in the last two years. If this is true, it is true much farther down 10th.

Kahn's Deli had the best reuben i've ever eaten. Most of the sandwiches at Kahn's were the best I've ever had.

I hope the new naming rights coincide with a huge overhaul of Toyota Center like they AT&T Center in San Antonio and State Farm Arena in Atlanta we're way overdue for an upgrade!
This team is going to be fun to watch we have some nice young pieces.
I agree that we have some nice young pieces. I don’t know that we are good yet by any means.

I hope we get a good deal mainly because I read that we don't get paid anywhere near as much as other arenas too
In order:
- Scotiabank Arena in Toronto: 30M per season
- Chase Center in San Francisco: 15M per season
- Capital One Arena in DC: 10M per season
- Barclays Center in Brooklyn: 10M per season
- Philips Arena in Atlanta: 8.75M per season
- American Airlines Center in Dallas: 6.5M per season
- Little Caesars Arena in Detroit: 6.25M per season
- Golden 1 Center in Sacramento: 6M per season
- Fiserv Forum in Milwaukee: 6M per season
- TD Garden in Boston: 6M per season
- Ball Arena in Denver: 6M per season
- Crypto.com Arena in LA: 5.8M per season
- United Center in Chicago: 5M per season
- Spectrum Center in Charlotte: 5M per season
- Finally....Toyota Center in Houston: 4.75M per season
The Rockets are good, the location is perfect (in the middle of the 4th largest city in America), almost all large concerts in the city occur at Toyota Center.....my point is, we deserve A LOT more. Also, in terms of how to stadium looks and feels, A LOT needs to be done IMO
"The Rockets are good"
You must watch a lot of basketball.

I watch through the Apple TV app on my fire stick and/or my Roku.

Bravery is fantastic and would be a huge loss. It is the best of the food halls by a mile in my opinion.

Any changes to these recommendations? I am looking to contract the same type of work.

Yes, but One Market Square is a parking garage, not a residential tower.
FWIW, I can find no mention of the tunnels on Brava's website. If they are going to the trouble/expense of providing tunnel access, I would think it would be mentioned as an amenity.
Brava does not have tunnel access, they didn't dig far enough down or have spots to connect.

I believe that they are already down to the facade so definitely not more than that. Does look like it’s staying though.

I agree. I'm downtown, but I'd take a train to an easily accessible coffee shop, if it was good.
I regularly walk past a bunch of other coffee places in order to patronize to Day 6 (and to a lesser extent Minuti) because it's open long hours and every day, which means it cares about the neighborhood and isn't just there to extract dollars.
You should add Tipping Point and 3 Fibs to your rotation.

4 years later and they have started working on the front of the building. I wonder what the plan is for it now.

The Tipping Point is opening their second location at the former Morningstar on N. Main. Not sure if it was mentioned anywhere but they have some of the best coffee in the city so pretty pumped for another location.

It’s a dumb and generally unenforceable rule.

Would have been cool if they had the crown lighting finished by now. The one section that is finished looks amazing with lit up in orange.

It seems like they would have some trademark problems with the existing Delilah's in Chicago. http://www.delilahschicago.com
But it's the same company right? No trademark problems with yourself.

While there is a chance that I still would have liked the glass podium better, I'm ready to admit that the stone looks pretty damn good.

I noticed that they took down a number of trees downtown on Main and on Travis in the last month or so. I assume that they were dead from the freeze but it seems like we never have a chance for most of the street trees to mature in DT.

What am I missing? I mean, don't get me wrong, cool interiors and rooftop spaces, but what about the exterior? Most people see this thing from the outside and frankly, its as ugly as its always been!
With a November opening, seems what you see is what you're going to get -- to me it looks like umm, an old post office processing facility and offices! Why no significant improvements to the exteriors? I mean, not like this place was landmarked or had an exterior with anything worth preserving!
They got like $50 million dollars for keeping it historic (not sure if it was tax breaks or what but I read that number somewhere). You can’t do much with the facade and still get that.

They have not planted the food garden yet, I assume that is what they are flying up.
