"Cabaret"
at island e.t.c. thru August 8th
"What good is sitting alone in your room, come hear the music play. Life is a Cabaret, old chum, come to the Cabaret!" These lyrics by Fred Ebb say it all. Don't miss CABARET at ETC at the Strand Theatre, 2317 Mechanic Street in Galveston, thru August 8th.
Performances are Thursday, Friday, and Saturday evenings at 8:00pm and Sunday afternoons at 2:30pm. Tickets are $25.00 for adults and $20.00 for students and senior citizens. Never been to Cuba? Neither have we, but we love the bites at El Meson, who specializes in Cuban fare. With black beans, plantains, and a more tropical flare, the food is certainly different and yet still familiar.
