Yoga Empowerment Service (YES!+) provides university students and young professionals with tools to reach their highest potential and has already made a difference to thousands across the world.
Main Aspects of the Program:
1) Physical – Challenging body exercises, yoga and innovative breathing techniques.
2) Mental – Practical knowledge and interactive processes to improve memory, concentration & focus.
3) Social - Experiential processes to develop problem solving strategies and social skills; Interactive processes to develop leadership and life skills; Teamwork exercises to teach cooperation and conflict resolution.
4) Emotional – Group discussions designed to help one feel at ease in challenging situations, and increase confidence and inner strength to better handle criticism and peer pressure.
Dates: Aug 19th – 23rd, 2009
Timings: Weekday 6:30 pm to 10 pm and Weekend 10 am to 4 pm

If you joined recently, or just want to meet a great group, please come join us 6:30 to 9:00 pm at Firkin & Phoenix! This is your chance to meet Event leaders, meet other members – both old and new – and find out about cool upcoming events – even make some suggestions of your own. You’ll also get to learn the ropes and ask questions over drinks and a great bar menu. Firkin & Phoenix is big and lively – they may even break out bar Wii! There’s parking along the street as well as in a lot behind the building.
Open to the public. This event is free for members and free for non members
