J.A.S.O.N.
I got these from the web for those who haven't seen these photos. My wife and I actually went out to the site a couple of months ago and it pretty much looks the same, also the smell of urine is overwhelming. I remember our elementary school going on a field trip to Sea Arama in the early 80's.

ssullivan
Wow it's sad to see the old Sea Arama facility in such poor condition. I hope something will be done to redevelop it.
pineda
Sea-arama and Landry's Tillman Fertitta bought Sea-arama last year, and I'm sure that unless his seemingly inexhausible supply of money runs out, that he will far surpass all of our expectations with the renovation of the old Sea-arama Marine World property. Tillman is nothing if not the modern-day version of P.T. Barnum!
Hunter
Ahh!!! Now that is the Galveston I remember. And how much it looks today. I remember going to that place several times in the past. The last was just before they closed. All of the tanks were full of algae and very green. The fish all looked very sick and sad, I remember my sister started to cry so much over the poor fish that we left and my dad demanded his money back. It closed not long after. I see that it has not improved much at all. Thanks for the pics.
