torvald
are you sure it wasn't just forest or something like that? not being offensive, i used to live in the area when it was first built. i do remember the 4 statues at the main entrance... they used to get tagged every few months... usually triangles of pubic hair, bikinis and such. Guest danax
are you sure it wasn't just forest or something like that?I'd say forest too. All the homes were built in the 70s back when it was ok to save trees, and those full grown pines are what makes those neighborhoods nice. I owned a home in nearby Fairfax in the 90s and remember Birnamwood being called Burninweed.

Guest Marty
My subdivision has been building walk trails from Treaschwig to Reynoldo on Birnam Wood BLVD they filled the forms to the top with gravel and dirt mix. Does this mean its not gonna be concrete surface? Edited March 14, 2007 by Marty
mrfootball
Does this mean its not gonna be concrete surface?I think it means its going to be a walking trail (a la Memorial Park).
Guest Marty
I notice that they are slant drilling under Cypress Creak and installing some kind of wire in a 6 inch tube. It might mean that they are going to finely widen Treaschwig road from a two lane to a five lane road like the 2005 improvement bond said or it might be for the two new subdivision at Aldine Westfield and Treaschwig around the Mercer Arboretum?
