Montrose1100
Since I love burning gas, making a hole in my wallet, adding to the traffic, and most importantly; harming the environment... I drove to my old neighborhood for no reason whatsoever. Ok, well maybe because I wanted to take a few pictures. But on Friday I had reason! I was going to the Galleria, and I took the long way (I-45 to South Loop 610) And since I love you guys, I won't put these photos on anyother site. Think of it as a 'Haif Excluse'. Taken on Thursday: Taken Friday: Drools: Just had to get the Armani in there:

There are several in there that really bring out the essential beauty of the international style office building...that's not always easy to do. gonzo1976
Great pictures. I liked the ones of the Williams (Transco) Tower.I truly believe that what Houston lacks in natural beauty, it makes up for in architecture.
MarthaG
I agree, great pics. I love seeing the old and new buildings of downtown mixed together.... to me, that is the real Houston. But I too really admire the Williams (Transco) Tower. I affectionaly call it "Darth Vader". It is my beacon. I can see if from the end of my street, I call see it from my desk at the office, from way down Westheimer, coming in from SW Freeway & Katy. If I ever get turned around, I just look for it and then I know exactly where I am.
Talbot
Very nice exclusive! I would be scared to drive my bentley around town, because of the careless people and just getting it dirty would scare me.
