hindesky
This Upper Kirby French restaurant closed on September 23, according to its chef-partner Philippe Schmit. “It was a difficult decision, but it was time to move on,” Schmit said in a text message to Eater Houston. “I want to thank all the customers who supported us, and especially thank my staff for their loyalty and efforts up to the very end.” As of Wednesday, October 9, the restaurant boarded up with a notice, dated September 26, 2024, tacked onto it demanding the tenants vacate for “non-payment of rent.” Landlord P. Kamal stated that “the rights of occupancy and possession are hereby terminated” and that the tenants must vacate the premises by Thursday, October 10. https://houston.eater.com/2024/9/30/24258493/houston-restaurant-closings-closed-september-2024

PS-21 previously operated here prior to closing a few months ago. https://beerandgrillusa.com https://www.instagram.com/beerandgrillusa https://www.instagram.com/beerandgrillhtx

I agree that Beer and Grill won't last long at 2712 Richmond Ave. However, I don't think it will be because the property is a bad spot. I don't see many people going living or working in that area visiting often, if at all.
j_cuevas713
The problem is walkability. Unless you're gonna drive there, it's not inviting as a pedestrian to walk on this stretch of Richmond.
