hindesky
Kemah has now begun the first phase of a long-range project that will turn an abandoned site into the city's largest park space. The city recently broke ground on what will eventually be a 57-acre development to be developed in nine-phase increments over the next five to 10 years, a construction plan that will mitigate the brunt of its estimated $4.5 million total cost, according to city planners. During the first phase, the city will build a mile-long park trail, a pavilion and all-inclusive playground expected to be complete by spring 2025. https://www.houstonchronicle.com/neighborhood/bayarea/article/kemah-new-park-largest-green-space-19786134.php
