In 1922, the town site developer HA. Kipp, PE asked Birdsall Briscoe and Sam Dixon of Briscoe & Dixon, Architects to build an interesting apartment complex in Montrose.

The location was supposed to be on West Alabama Street between Bute Street and Brandt Street.  Looking on Google, I see the city block with (one) address of 301 West Alabama St. Given this was in 1922, the low street number would make sense.

Edit: I don't have the address.  I wonder if I should place 301 W. Alabama as the thread title? It would give it's location for maps and old aerials.
