The Houston-based architect Lewis Sterling Green, commonly referred to as L.S. Green, was active in the ractive in the 1900s to the 1930s.  He actually finished-out Joseph Finger's works as Mr. Finger was getting too old and dying.

At one point LS Green partnered with another famous Houston-based architect Joseph Finger that created Green & Finger, Architects.

In 1907, L.S. Green had his offices in the Commercial National Bank Building, rooms 232-233-234. Phone number, 2446.

Some of my favorite works by him are the Blessed Sacrament Catholic School, C.J. Koehler Fancy Goods Retailer, and the Fox Apartment House/Fox Hotel.
