Highrise Tower
In 1909, Charles F. Parker (also written as Chas. F. Parker) built the Baltimore Apartments located in Downtown. The building was abutting the Young Men's Christian Association Building. The Houston-based architecture firm was Jones & Tabor Architects. Charles F. Parker was a retail merchant that sold clothes and the alike. Not sure if you could say department store? The retail store was located at Texas and Travis.
EspersonBuildings
916 Fannin? Must have been neighbors with The Rossonian. Interesting the number of apartment buildings that were downtown in the first half of the 20th century. This one, The Rossonian, The Beaconsfield, The Savoy, etc.
