Highrise Tower
Thought I would start an appreciation thread for the Houston-based developer Jesse H. Jones. Like with Hines, Mr. Jones practically built this city. His legacy still lives on and his family is/was a big supporter of the Texas Medical Center and the arts A 1913 portfolio of Jesse Holman Jones. hbg.50
We wouldn’t have the Port of Houston without Jesse H. Jones (for whom Jones Hall is named). In my book he’s a notch above Hines and included in the Mt. Rushmore of Houston.

Specwriter
Not only did Jones play possibly the most significant role in commercial development of Houston in the first half of the 20th century, through the Houston Endowment he and his wife, Mary Gibbs Jones, defined philanthropy in the city and around the state.
