1315 Palmer St (Polk @ Palmer)

Recommended Posts

Was riding by on my way to work this morning, and there was activity on site.

The site has sat untouched since at least 2007 when the oldest Google street View showed a mostly identical structure.

According to HCAD, the property was sold by HBS Warehouse to Embark Energy Holdings LLC on 12/09/2022.

A google search lead me to https://www.embark-energy.com/. It says that they are a gasoline wholesaler and gas station owner operator in the central Texas region. I emailed them to find out if they had any plans to share.

Just went to message @HNathoo to see if he knew anything and saw that he posted these on his Twitter.

Can you spill the beans on anything else?

I'm just relieved that this isn't going to be bulldozed into a gas station 😆

Just replacing the windows for now. Tried to restore the old ones, but they were beyond repair.

Will also likely add some windows to the white building across the street to create more appeal for a retail/restaurant tenant.

Very cool. The bones on this one are so good. That ceiling is beautiful
