Highrise Tower
James Ruskin Bailey was a Houston-based Architect. He practiced in the 1910s, 1920s, and 1930s. JRB was once in partnership with Joseph Finger, forming the architecture firm Finger & Bailey, Architects. Some of my favorite James Bailey designs are the Mebane Grave Mansion, Tabernacle Methodist Episcopal Church, Houston Methodist Hospital, Concordia Club, John Kirby Mansion, and the Citizens National Bank. In 1915, he had an office located in the Public National Bank Building, room 905.
