A little confused with this one.  Wasn't a "Palace Hotel" actually built by the Houston Terminal?  Maybe this was only a proposal and never got built? I thought I read that this hotel was built and active? Or possibly, this was a second hotel near the terminal station?

The hotel was developed by Palace Hotel Company, and designed by Joseph Finger and James Ruskin Bailey. Two of Houston's prominent architects of the time.

Tom Tellepsen was the contractor.  Which is very cool!  You don't hear about many present-day contracting companies being around for 106 years.

What was actually built, and still stands!
