St. Paul's Methodist Church On Milam St. At McGowen St.

Very cool church dating back to 1906!  I actually never knew J.O. Ross was the founder of the church. That's pretty cool!  Also, Jesse H. Jones was apart of the board/directors/leadership/founders.

I believe they have had 3 buildings? 1st was in downtown in the mid to late 1800s.  The second in 1906, and the last and current, in the 1950s?

The Houston-based "star architect" Rezin D. Steel was the architect of the church.  Such awesome work here! To be honest, it looks like R.D. Steele was in partnership with someone at the time. I cannot make out the text. We'll have to figure this one out!
