First Church Of Christ Scientist At 1720 Main St.

Recommended Posts

Cataloging all of the First Church of Christ Scientists (also a few name variants) is confusing.  I believe there was a total of 3 "FCOCS" and then 2 or 3 Second Church of Christ Scientists.

I believe it goes:
1900: John H. Kirby build on Travis and McKinney, unknown architect. Possibly Charles D. Hill?
1911: Joseph Finger design at 1720 Main St.
1961: Milton Foy Martin design at 1720 Main St.

The 2nd build was designed by Joseph Finger. Here's a rendering (drawing) and some photographs.
