Highrise Tower
wow! Today I came across a more recent (in terms of business operating years) building of the Westheimer Furniture Company. I noticed this advertisement in the newspaper The Bellaire Texan dated February 18, 1959. M.L. Westheimer sure did build a business empire! Seems like he created 5+ companies. Dave W
This wasn't a regular furniture store, it was a warehouse outlet operated by Westheimer Transfer & Storage, whose corporate headquarters had moved to the Kirby Drive location by this time. The business was established by Sigmund J. Westheimer, a nephew of M.L. Westheimer.
