editor
Anyone here familiar with Weird U.S.? I started following them about six years ago when they were known as "Weird N.J." -- a newsletter about strange history in New Jersey. They started a web site, then ended up publishing a book which was a huge hit. Big enough that they expanded to the whole U.S., and put out more books on various states, and now have their own cable TV series. Anyway, in the episode airing right now, they're doing the Sam Houston statue in Huntsville, and the Orange Show. I never really considered either of those particularly "weird" but I guess they had to tone it down for the national audience, considering that the Weird NJ newsletter is mostly filled with stories about ghosts and demons and murders.
