IronTiger
While trying to locate the location of the closed AppleTree (closed 1992) on Richey Road, I stumbled upon a road marked on Google called Wild Turkey Bend, just south of Richey and FM 1960. It's a through four-lane road but closed off for at least for the last 10 years (it was built in the 1980s). Can't find any information on the 'net about it, and I assume it's part of an undeveloped subdivision (less infamous than Continental Plaza, obviously). Is there a good story behind this? SpaceGhost
Looks like it might of been part of a land development deal called "Northwoods Business Park". You can find some more info here. Basically though looks like the road was added to provide better access to the larger properties.
IronTiger
I don't think so, as one of their plats straight out replaces WTB. I'm just going to venture a guess that it was just a failed subdivision, just like Midway Plaza to the north (with streets named after Caribbean Islands, like Tobago Lane, Barbuda Drive, and Grenada Lane).
