rechlin
Looks like they are finally building the mast climbers to work on the northeast wall of the taller building:
BigFootsSocks
What are they doing to this side? Windows or work for the garage?
Triton
Ah man. I knew I forgot to post something. Oh well, yes, they started working on this earlier this week. Based on the renderings, there appears to be all glass corners on the backside here. Not sure if they want to add in windows as well... Grizzly46
They replaced one new window in the front of the building. These large windows will look great when finished.

Montrose1100
I know it's pretty fuzzy and out of focus, but it's crane adds to the already growing number of cranes.

flatline
Three tower cranes across the street from one another. Does that make a total of five downtown now (?)(with Hilcorp and Marquis), and with at least three more on the way this year? (Skanska, Six Houston, Market Square) It's not pre-Olympics Beijing yet, but that's pretty darned impressive.

Triton
Skyhouse Main will probably have one crane as well. Hotel Alessandra has a very small footprint and will probably have one. 800 Bell may not even have a crane but I suppose the Texaco renovation proves otherwise. Somewhat random question but is Houston and Austin the only Texas cities experiencing this CBD construction boom or is Dallas as well? Just curious and don't mean to delve too much off topic. Chi-Char-Hou-Dal
Maybe stupid question - does anyone have renderings and timeframe for what's currently under construction. I know there was a new tower that was maybe phase 2?

Houston19514
From what I understand Dallas is experiencing a boom in its Uptown district. of sorts. doesn't really compare to what Houston is experiencing in its central area though (downtown/midtown/EADO)

toxtethogrady
From what I understand Dallas is experiencing a boom in its Uptown district. It is - about a dozen projects. All in the 10-20 story range. There are supposed to be more, but they are getting a lot of low-rise wraps west of downtown and in suburban locations. The big news was the State Farm project, which is four buildings of various heights in Richardson. Toyota is also supposed to build a campus but I'm guessing it won't be like the Energy Corridor projects. Some of the downtown skyscrapers have gone from office to residential, but still plenty of vacancies. I expect more conversions. Both cities have definitely grown. UtterlyUrban
Triton:These. Are great images, thanks! I must admit though, I really don't understand what this building is going to look like when it's done. If will be fun to see it take shape. That big ugly wall remains and they are tearing out the brick on a seemingly nice facade. Hmmmmm
