I think the former Woodshed space in Levy Park is leased or in lease negotiations. An entity was recently filed for Hearsay at Levy Park LLC. Maybe the restaurant is expanding to 3728 Wakeforest Ave?

CultureMap reports this morning Hearsay is indeed leasing Woodshed's former space. The projected opening is December.

The address for Hearsay's Upper Kirby location is 3728 Wakeforest Ave. It's located in Levy Park.

More from CultureMap below:

"... popular gastropub Hearsay has claimed the former Woodshed Smokehouse space for its fifth location."

It would be awesome if they removed all the parking and just made it greenspace that flows in to the park. Hopefully that adult store and comic book store are both gone soon as the value of the land continues to increase. They're both extreme eyesores.

Even with that hideous parking lot, adding more trees and pedestrian space would have REALLY helped. If this is a result of parking minimums, then this is what we get. My hope is that this is a template to grow off of. So maybe a really gorgeous mural, maybe a small personal pocket park for the residents, idk.
