Fun slide show in the NYT today on oldsters with interior design frozen in time. Hard to believe I'm saying it, but I'm so sick of faux European country and super-size-me living room sofas that the 70's is looking pretty good to me now: macrame, paneling and all.

The MCM (last few slides) is gorgeous.

I love time warp houses, and I've always had a soft spot for '70s modernism and the more upscale decor. The fake wood paneling and shag, not so much...
