sevfiv
The 1866 city directory lists St. Vincent de Paul on Franklin between San Jacinto and Caroline, with Rev. Augustin D'Asti, O.S.F. pastor. This is about where the new Harris County Criminal Justice Center is (or the parking lot across the street).Further information in the directory states that it was built around 1840-1841, and attached a residence for the priests and a schoolhouse.
