Disastro
Cry more. The only channel that is all up on Obama is MSNBC. I find CNN to be fairly balanced and of course Fox News. They are the most balanced news source out there.....or not, but you get my point (I hope). And the Obama "youth corp"? Where did you get this from?Good for you man. Good for you. You can say the exact same thing with some of those red states. It isn't just one sided like you want to believe. Watch out for Georgia, Montana, Indiana, and WV for the red side. Still, the map, getting closer and closer to the election is turning blue. It's like this country is getting the cure from the red disease. Yeah, i think the landslide will be even bigger. See, why do Repubs keep referring to Obama as "the messiah"? No one else does that but you guys. You think we'll be rioting in the streets if Obama loses? With the way you're acting, I can't wait to see what'll happen when McCain loses. Wow. The fact that you're serious makes this even better. Fantasy, fantasy...you'll see. With regard to the "Messiah" label -- again, that comes from NATION OF ISLAM leader Calypso Louis Farrahkhan. HE called him that...and minions like you treat him as if he's the Messiah...so why not? Seems like a good label to me. Louis Farrahkhan...Reverend Wright...Bill Ayers...man, Obama can sure pick his friends! I don't know about you, but I pick friends I can relate to. Since all these guys are died-in-the-wool Marxists themselves...that sure reinforces MY label on Obama of Marxist. Birds of a feather flock together. RedScare
I'll name two right off: C.S. Lewis and William J. Murray (Son of Madalyn Murray O'Hair).Your statement:It's funny how all these atheists always cry out to God on their death beds. When asked to name one, you respond with two who converted at 33 years of age. Hardly on their deathbeds, Lewis lived another 32 years, Murray is still alive, 28 years after his conversion. Like your political claims, you are more than a little bit off. N Judah
He's a troll. He just wants to goad everyone into "yes he is"/"no he isn't" conversations. He went from saying Obama is a Marxist to lumping Obama in with Nazi Germany (??) within the span of a couple of posts. He obviously is just throwing labels around to see what sticks to rile people up. So stop going along with it, you dorks! KinkaidAlum
I don't know about you, but I pick friends I can relate to.That's kinda sad. I have many friends that I can relate to but don't necessarily agree with.I just had a great lunch on Friday with a group of friends from the building where I work. There were 8 of us at the table. 4 of us openly support Obama. 1 is for McCain. 1 is for Nader. 1 is a lifelong Republican who wants to vote for McCain but she's hesitant due to his pick of Palin (this is the sister of the McCain supporter). 1 is from New Zealand and can't vote but if he could, he'd vote for Obama. The political conversation at the table was very interesting. The McCain supporter never once uttered things like Obama is a Marxist or a terrorist sympathizer. Instead, she worried about his lack of overall experience and was drawn to McCain because she believes that if he's elected, he'll turn his back on the far right and return to being the candidate he was back in 2000. These are things that I don't necessarily agree with but I can respect because they aren't some far-fetched talk radio attack point.
N Judah
I don't know, I've often thought that Marxism and Facism were the same thing. They can be. But Obama is not affiliated with Nazi Germany. He also lacks the ideological purity to pigeonhole him as a Marxist. He is, as nearly all newspapers and media outlets correctly describe him, a populist above all else. Whether or not we want what he's cooking remains to be seen on the first tuesday in November. I see populism as anarchism within the constraints of the electoral institutions, which is significantly different from Marxism. editor
Since civilized discourse is beyond the grasp of some of the people around here, this thread is closed.I will start a new one so we can all take a deep breath and get a fresh start.
