mrfootball Posted January 14, 2008 Posted January 14, 2008 (edited) These guys are some of the worst. They've been quoted in the paper saying they'd take the signs down, yet repeatedly littered the landscape with their bandit signs.Harris County is going after them (and will start going after the others). Finally, a good sign...for Harris County.Harris County Taking Homebuilder to Court over Placards Edited January 14, 2008 by mrfootball Quote
The Great Hizzy! Posted January 14, 2008 Posted January 14, 2008 Yeah, they're about 8 years behind the City of Houston, Sugarland, etc. Quote
Ross Posted January 15, 2008 Posted January 15, 2008 When we lived in Midtown, we yanked the home builder signs on our block every weekend. Finally they came by and promised to pick them up by Sunday evening. Perry stuck with their promise, the others didn't and started losing their signs again. I had great fun pulling the signs as fast as the guy in the truck could put them up. one of them gave me a hard time until I pulled out my cell phone and asked if he wanted to discuss his aversion to me picking up litter with HPD. If I were independently wealthy, I would ufnd the whole process of picking up bandit signs. 1 Quote
