hardygirl
There is a land clearing project happening on the North side of Louetta, near the small bridge just after the Gettysburg entrance and before Malcomson/Heatherwick rd. It's an odd place to be clearing because it's divided by the bayou that runs perpendicular to Louetta, and doesnt have direct access to the street. (sorry if i'm confusing anyone on the exact location - but it's a little hard to explain.) Anyway - does anyone have any clue as to what this could be? I haven't seen any developer signs or anything of that sort. It just seems like a very odd piece of land to develop.....
MyHomeHouston
Are you talking about this plot of land along the bayou?
mrfootball
That's the one. I believe that plot has been 'cleared' for a long time. There was once a lot of broken up concrete or rocks on it. It sits aside the Faulkey Gully Hike & Bike trail. I wonder what they've got planned?
hardygirl
In recent years, the jogging trails that border Faulkey Gully were redone. I know the trails go under the bridge to the North side of Louetta. I wonder if the plans are to continue that project, and maybe that's what the clearing is for??? that seems like an awful lot of land for trails though...I'm curious to learn more.
