downtowndweller
Hi I need to replace my windows and framing for my unit on 8th floor. They're made of wood and am looking to replace with something sturdier and more soundproof. Any recommendations on a good company to help me with this? Thanks,DD

Which building are you in?Gulf Coast Windows has a good reputation and a good product.

A better option might be to install interior storm window. They're used to increase energy efficiency and cut down on noise, while preserving the exterior appearance of the window. They're expensive, but I've heard good thing about them.
gwilson
I use Pella windows almost exclusively. So if you'd like me to get you in touch with my vendor, let me know via PM.
