Off League City Parkway and South Shore Blvd, a community called Hidden Lakes was supposed to go in. It was being developed by the son of Bob Perry (Perry Homes) and was supposed to be where the South Shore Harbour Development would go once the community reached buildout. Homes were supposed to start being built in 2007. The streets for the first two phases went in and the new Education village on the east side of the development is pretty much done. But what happened to the rest of the development? Has anyone heard about the developer or maybe if they're just waiting for SSH to fully reach close-out??

I was looking at maps of the Kingwood Area and I was wondering if anyone has noticed that the area looks like it was set up to maybe include a mall when it was developed. The area between Northpark and Kingwood Dr. on the west side of 59. It looks to have a ring road that most malls in the Houston area have. Also, it's within close proximity to 59. Just wondering if anyone knows if the area was intended to include a commercial area like this when it was developed.
