Every time I pass this place I wish someone would buy it and open a Petrol Station style beer bar and eatery. Perfect lot size. Just a little busy at rush hour.

We bought in Shadow Oaks off of Gessner and Long Point 10 years ago and have seen the area change a ton for the better. Our house has doubled in value and the taxes are still very low. ~1800 square foot homes on 9000 square foot lots. Prime for the tear down market. I wonder when that will start hitting our neighborhood.

Anyone know what is going up in front of the new Progressive Auto shop right on the feeder of I-10 in between Spring Branch Honda and Sam's Club?

Anyone have any insight on what is going in across the street from the old Las Alamedas? I also see there is some new gates up around the lot next to Conn's between Gessner and Bunker Hill.

Nevermind... found out it is the main guy at the Lanier Law Firm.

The last thing we need in this area is another bank, that is why it sucks. I would rather them use it for parking space.

Does anyone know what is going up on the west-side parking lot where Olive Garden used to reside?

Hey, sorry it took so long to reply. The newest table cloth cafe that's just opened is an exciting one. Right next to Daddy's Pizza (which is amazing) is a new Mediterranean Cafe/Restaurant with a deck called Falafel. It's between Westray and Kempwood on Gessner.
Thanks! I will have to check it out. Does anyone know if they are preparing to demolish the strip center at Gessner and I-10 where CiCi's was? I noticed that all the tenants are evacuating.

....between the white table cloth café’s that are starting to pop up and the food vendors working from converted school buses. Which will flourish and which will fail?.....
Can you tell me a little more about these white table cloth cafe's you speak of? I am in Shadow Oaks and cannot wait for some this renewal. I would love to have a local pub that has good craft beer and a good independent coffee shop to frequent with a book.
