Whats up, I'm an architecture student from San Antonio. I'll be in Houston at a friend's house all weekend. I'm going to check out the AIA Sandcastle Competition in Galveston saturday afternoon but other than that I plan to roam around Houston.

I plan to check out the buildings by Van Der Rohe and Piano. Any other suggestions?

Those are great pictures, here are a few more. My favorite thing about the Riverwalk is that every connection between street and river level was *designed* rather than engineered.
