What's the outlook for a single family home owner about a mile away from this proposed development? Is our sleepy little corner of the loop finally getting it's wakeup call?

About 2 years ago. There is also a new "luxury" apt complex called "The Connection at Buffalo Pointe".

Interesting. I've been curious about the area directly to the Southeast of this location, where buffalo Spdwy and Willowbend have been extended and now meet in the middle of what was once an old oil field. For a while there was talk of a new MPC called Buffalo Lakes, but I have seen or heard nothing about it in a while.

The apartments shown in the NE corner of the development are almost done. I drove down Buffalo speedway to where Willowbend has tied in and noticed that they have already dug the retention canal. Maybe things are moving along?

Notice the second large anchor store and the proposed senior living facility.

This topic is even getting some exposure on Swamplot. I guess we're close enough to being ITL that they don't mind checking in on us

I'm moving in to Post Oak Manor next month and I had been very concerned about whats going on just behind the neighborhood...then I ran across this:

I think this is great, and I really hope it creates a natural barrier between Main and the new tollroads to the south. Does anyone know what the current project status is?

Also, any useful info about Post Oak Manor and Willowbrook / WillowBend would be great.

Does Post Oak Manor have an active Civic club?
