I agree with most of you. This probably was just an isolated incident, however, I felt it necessary to pass it along. I have lived all over Houston including River Oaks and the Galleria as well as the burbs. Out of all of my past residences, by far my favorite is the Heights. There is no way I will let this incident push me to move elsewhere, but it has definitely caused me to put my guard up. Should anything like this occur again, my plan of action will be to grab my cell phone and my camera and take a snap (mug) shot while I am calling the police.

It was early Sunday morning (about 3:30 am) when my friend and I were sitting on my steps sipping on some beverages and talking. On our way inside, my friend heard a noise as if someone was trying to get her attention. She looked at my neighbor's yard (behind me) and saw a man wacking off. At first she couldn't believe what she was seeing so she didn't say anything. Then we went outside again and he was gone. A few minutes later she asked me to turn around and look at what she was seeing and there he was again, with a grin on his face, lifting up his shirt and masturbating staring right at us. We both went inside for the evening and locked all the doors and windows. I've informed some of my neighbors (and am working on the rest) and I've filed a police report, but I do not feel they will be much help except to just patrol the area more often. I wanted to inform the community to keep an eye out for this man. He might just be a sicko serial masturbator, but there is a possiblity he may be a sexual predator. My area is on the corner of Michaux St. and White Oak in a garage apartment. Keep a look out for this man: light-medium skinned black male, looked to be in his mid-thirties, of average height and weight (probably about 5'10' to 6'2' and 200 lbs). He was wearing a white t-shirt, had no facial hair and was either bald or had very short hair. The best way to describe him was that he looked a little like Tracy Morgan (the comedian). Please spread the word and always be aware of your surroundings!
