It is going to be a new high school in KISD. A middle school, eventually, too - I think.

We need someone in Precinct 4 to step up! NOW! Where is the mandatory curfew? I am worried about robbery & looting after the storm. NO ONE has addressed this yet. What a mistake by Harris County officals. We will be riding the storm out at home, but I know plenty of people who are leaving, and concerned.

Sounds like an overpriced Souper Salad....yippee! These types of places (giant salad bars) have always been unappealing to me personally - especially in this day and age of germs, E Coli, and nasty stuff like that on veggies from God-knows-where. There are two things I would not pay money for in a restaurant - sandwiches and salads. This place will probably be suitable for dieters and people who work nearby...but I will not go out of my way to patronize such a place. Its almost like all the restaurants in this development are an overpriced version of everything they are selling. Overpriced pizza, overpriced Italian, overpriced salad, overpriced seafood....the list goes on!

There was an article today in the Spring/Klein/Tomball section of the Houston Chronicle. It was all about Vintage Park, and it was a total "PR puff piece" if you ask me. Here is the link, and you be the judge.

If you buy half of what this article says, I have some oceanfront property in Arizona for you!!! This place just got a upscale pizza place, too - according to the Vintage Park web site. $23 pizzas with toppings like lobster and wild-caught Key West Shrimp??? Gimme a break!!! I live in a very nice neighborhood within a few miles of this place, and I have been so disappointed with all the rumors, and the lack of progress (As well as tenants seeming to pull out).
They need some high end SHOPPING...and some tenants - yesterday!!! Overpriced sandwich shops, burger and pizza joints ain't gonna cut it. Its a total ghost town, and hopefully this will change.

There was a story in either 'The Sun' or the Houston Chronicle a week or two ago about the LDS building a church in the back of Gleannloch Farms; it could be worse, I guess.
Across from Frank Elementary is being zoned to Apartments? Wow. Where did this info come from, if you don't mind sharing? That stinks, I know a lot of people that live back in that area.
