There was a restaurant, now defunct but the name escapes me. Someone here is bound to remember it.

It was on the NE corner of the Katy Frwy and Beltway 8. It is now a Murphys Deli. It was Tex-Mex and the patio had a tiki-hut type roof. It was just north of the parking lot of Builders Square (now HCC).

Very early 90's.

Excellent food, by the way. If I could only remember the name.

Not for clothes but a popular place I shopped as a teen was SOUND WAREHOUSE. I bought all of my albums & cassettes there and occasionally rented VHS movies. Occasionally used their Ticketmaster service for concert tickets.

Warp and Woof Clothiers in the Village had an extensive selection of jeans.

Woo! They had the BEST selection of Guess jeans, circa 1985.

Does anyone remember a hamburger joint on S. Gessner between Harwin and Bellaire? 1983-84 time frame, seems like it was called "Things" but not sure about the name.

Oh wait, they were right around Harwin but off of Briarpark Dr.
