southwest corner of six pines and the waterway is the proposed site for the HMNS location. it is directly in front of the riva row townhomes and across the waterway from the pavilion/marriott parking garage.
Thank Bachanon,
Are there any details of this development anywhere? Living in one of the townhomes on Riva Row, I am very interested in seeing what is going to be put in place of the trees. We always knew it was planned for development and HMNS would be quite a nice addition. I just wonder about it as an attraction thos - is TW ready for something of this magnitude?

Houstonmacbro "I tend to skip it because there is usually no really close parking to the restaurant. "
This says to me that you are not in TW target market - the place is being set up to be pedestian friendly - that means you may actually have to....WALK!!! I know this is an obscure concept to you so perhaps you should stick to souless drive-thru..

I drove past today and there is a sign up for Hubbell and Hudson to open in the Fall....Bistro and Market so I guess it is going ahead.

Does anybody know anything about Store and/or restaurants planned to open up in Waterway square. I remember reading about a "wholefoods" style store in the main building but it all seems to be very quiet in the 1st floor of the main building.
Thanks

or a Townhouse in The Woodlands - especially if you work here. I live and work in the town center area and it's the most stress free living I have ever experienced :-) sorry to rub it in but had to share my joy....

This place looks amazing - perfect for a relaxing bottle of wine in the bar.
I was speaking to the new management a few weeks ago and the stated a late April opening - can't wait.

Where is this located?

Looking forward to more leisure choices in The Town Center - this really is a fine example of town planning, I just hope the upkeep over the next few years matches that. Some more imagination in building design would also add to the area appeal. This main building and from what I have seen of the others does nothing for me to say "Wow".
I was dissapointed to see that there will be a road along the front of the main WW Plaza building - I thought the idea was for this area to be a pedestrian area.

Having recently moved into The Woodlands Town Center, I have been enjoying seeing the controlled growth and good town planning that is going into it.
One question I have however is that despite modelling The Woodlands around the natural surroundings, I see very little going on as far as encouraging residents to be environmentally friendly. One such example is recycling - I took a drive to find a bottle bank at the weekend only to find the recycling center closed and opening hours as Wednesday and Saturday only!! Not exactly encouraging use.
I would really like to see recycling centers at HEB and in the corner of large parking lots to encourage people to think about their trash before it lands in our ever increasing landfil sites.
East Shore In The Recession
in Other Houston Neighborhoods

Hi all,
Does anybody know how the East Shore development is going to fare in the current environment? There seems to be a lot of property for sale and a lot of development still planned.
Best wishes to all for a healthy and happy 2009
