Found out today - the apartments will be zoned to Hamilton Elementary

These apartments are zoned to the new Black Elementary School (outside Rock Creek), Goodson Middle and Cy-Woods HS.

Where is the school zoning information for this new apartment building located? I tried to find it on the Cy-Fair website but couldn't locate an updated zoning map.

The new gated neighborhood at Treeline is preselling lots now. They've saved some of the big oak trees and will have oversized lots. I drove by the other day (near Spring Cypress and N. Eldridge) and it looks like it will be really pretty.

As I posted in another thread, I'm a single dad with 2 young kids moving to the area between now and the 1st of the year. I've learned to start planning childcare as soon as possible so I'm starting today. I would like to hear from anybody that has good personal experience with a daycare that will provide tranportation to/from Yeager and maybe Bleyl. I have a 2nd grader and a pre-schooler. If everything works out with my job, I'll be working in Greenspoint area 8ish to 5ish M-F.

I've spent most of the morning looking through the DFPS listing but I'm not real thrilled with the options thus far and, because I'm in Fort Worth right now, it's kinda hard for me to make a good decision based on a phone call.

You may be able to contact Yeager directly and ask for the specific daycares that provide transportation to and from the school. I know there are several that do but I don't remember the names.

Large piles of mulch every 100 feet or so have been put down between the mainlaines and the feeder up near HP. I assume this is part of the reforestation process.

I drove by today and it looks like the big piles of mulch have just been spread out thinly over the grass. I don't know how the reforestation process works - does anyone know if this project is still moving forward?

Again. Prove that the busses caused it. I'll even give you a starting point. The Mac-10 Fest in the FM 1960 parking lot occurred on a Friday night at 3:00 am. METRO's 86 Crosstown stops running at 11:30 pm. How did those hundreds of people get there if METRO stopped running 3 hours earlier? And, how did they manage to clear out before the cops got there?

I've seen some of the "intuition" on this board, and it is hideous. Some on this board could not intuit their way out of a wet paper bag. I recall YOUR intuition in a Heights thread a few weeks back. You weren't even close.

Now, is anyone going to find that busses bring crime study, or am I going to have to rely on some of the brilliant intuition displayed on this board?

Note: I am not disputing that 1960 has seen its share of problems increase in the last 20 years. That video does not lie. I am specifically asking some of the rocket scientists here to show me where METRO caused it, as has been alleged. Because, frankly, all of these thugs in the video appear to have rides.

Can we just clear up that the plural spelling for "bus" is buses???

La Parmigiana on Grant across from Hamilton is one of our favorites. I don't love the pizzas as much but the pasta dishes are great.

I wonder why Klein is considering school until the end of June. Tomball has announced an ending date of May 30, and I believe Cy-Fair is shooting for the same...
