Segments F1, F2, & G (290 to 59N) . Ground breaking scheduled for early 2013...

Opened today. Went at 6:30 expecting a crowd but there were only about 5 tables taken. One thing that I can say is definitely better at this location: parking.

I miss puffy tacos. No one has them in Houston. (or at least not that I know of....)

If I could be guaranteed that my kids wouldn't go to Bush High or Hodges Middle, we'd consider moving there.
Hey now! I went to Hodges Bend...oh yeah, good call.
I lived in Mission Bend and went to HBMS & Austin HS some years ago so its weird seeing the new 1464 alignment. I hadn't driven through this area in probably about a year until today. I agree with AK123, looks nice.

Do you have a preference to a certain part of town?
The place I live should have open units. It's only been open since early this year.
Check it out: Broadstone W 18 Apts
I think they're still doing 2 months off with a 12 month lease so the prices are a bit cheaper than whats on the site. Also the bus stop is a stones throw away from the front door.

A friend of mine used to live there. She left since they were raising her rent about $100. They are a bit pricey for what you get. My wife and I were thinking about moving there since she goes to UH and I work at Kirby@610. We weren't moving until the end of June and they would only hold a unit for 30 days. Within the 2 weeks we looked and the beginning of June, the unit we wanted was gone. No big deal though, we found a nicer place for the same price elsewhere.

Does anyone have a map of the boundaries for this project?
I'm familiar with the area, but I just wanted to know which buildings are going to be demolished.

Ahh yes, an even larger relatively treeless parking lot, muuuch less of an eyesore.
Not that I am for tearing down the dome, but if it were torn down that would add a huge amount of space. The entire parking lot could then be redone with landscaped islands throughout. It wouldn't happen, but oh well...

According to this article from the Katy Times the timetable was 28 months from September 2011. So around January 2014 segment E should be complete.
