dbig, you missed the point. Visitors want to see the Dome, not because it is beautiful, but because it is The Astrodome. Most first-time visitors I have known said the two things they really wanted to see was NASA and The Astrodome.

Anybody ever see the Cadillac Ranch outside Amarillo? Well, I have. We drove out of our way just to go by and see it. It is ugly. It is gaudy. But it was there, and I had never seen it, so I drove over just to see it because it was famous.

I have been thinking a great deal about the proposed light rail project to Northline mall. At first glance this project seems quite absurd because of the limited number of commuters it would serve. It makes me wonder about the reasoning behind this decision. If my conclusions are correct, I

Yes, VH1 originated in Houston. I knew about it, but I weasn't into it or MTV back then, so I don't know all that much about how it got started. I do know that it was 1985 when they were in Allied Bank. -

This isn't saying much, but I questioned most of the answers Ken missed, including every one of the Daily Doubles. I thought they were fairly easy questions, if not by knowledge, then by reason. I hate to say it, but I think ol' Kenny took a dive!
