Demo work going on inside the buildings at 621 Waverly. I also noticed that Triten is referring to this as a separate project (Swift) rather than another phase of M-K-T while still noting that it is adjacent to M-K-T.  https://tritenre.com/projects/swift

Not sure when it occured but the new front deck has been removed. Did some general googling but found no new or changed info regarding this address that isn't already above.

Strudel Auto Lease located at 700 W 11th St has a for lease sign. It may have been up for some time however Google street view from January 2023 shows the Great Down Payments! sign that had been in that spot for several years. The lot looks mostly cleared out. HCAD not showing a change in ownership since 2005.

Looks like the plan is to move 1045 Ashland rather than demo.

News of 411 Sports Bar & Grill moving into the former Bernie's Burger Buns unit at 2200 Yale St, Suite 100 was also shared in the Houston Heights Foodies Facebook group in November.

You may want to consider joining that group if you want to stay informed about new and existing businesses in that area. The group mostly concentrates on businesses in the Greater Heights, Washington Corridor, Oak Forest, Garden Oaks, Timbergrove/Lazybrook, Independence Heights, and Northside Village/Near Northside.

Noticed this sign in the window of the closed Bernie's and then "411 Sports Bar and Grill" on Google maps. Could not find anything in permits but new to this so may not have been searching correctly.
